Rodalink Gresik

Privacy Policy

This page explains how Rodalink Gresik collects, uses, and stores user data, including Strava data connected by the user.

Overview

Rodalink Gresik is a bicycle maintenance application. Users may use the app without connecting Strava, but some maintenance and component wear features become more accurate after a user explicitly connects their personal Strava account.

Data We Collect

  • Basic account data such as name, email address, and encrypted password.
  • Bicycle, component, maintenance, and order data entered by the user inside the application.
  • Strava account identifiers and Strava tokens after explicit OAuth authorization by the user.
  • Strava activity data needed to display ride history and calculate maintenance usage or component wear.

How We Use Data

  • To provide account access and application functionality.
  • To display a user’s own cycling activity history after Strava authorization.
  • To calculate maintenance progress and component wear based on cycling activity data.
  • To send operational emails such as registration OTP and password reset OTP.

Strava Data Handling

The application only accesses Strava data belonging to the authenticated user who explicitly grants permission through Strava OAuth. Rodalink Gresik does not request or access Strava data from athletes who have not authorized the application.

Strava activity data is used to support activity sync, ride history display, maintenance tracking, and component wear calculations for the connected user’s bicycle.

Data Sharing

Rodalink Gresik does not sell personal data. Data is only used to operate the application and its user-facing maintenance features. Third-party service providers may process limited data where needed for infrastructure, authentication, email delivery, and Strava integration.

Data Retention and Deletion

User data is retained as long as it is needed to operate the account and the maintenance history associated with that account. Users may request deletion support through the public support page.

Users may also disconnect Strava access from their Strava account settings. Disconnecting Strava stops future authorized sync activity, while data deletion requests can be submitted through the support page.
